From hotel housekeeping to building our own business—here's how we ended up creating Fresh Cleans.
It started in hotels. Nikolas spent years in housekeeping, learning what "truly clean" actually means. Meanwhile, Mya was building skills in operations and customer service. We both knew we wanted to create something of our own.
Then we moved to New Braunfels. This community welcomed us with open arms, and we fell in love with the neighborly spirit here. We wanted to give back and be part of something bigger than ourselves.
Fresh Cleans was born from a simple idea: What if professional cleaning felt more like having a trusted friend help out? No corporate middlemen, no gig-app strangers—just us, showing up consistently with genuine care for your home.
Our bigger dream? We're also building SaaS tools to help other small cleaning businesses thrive. Fresh Cleans is our proof of concept—showing that with the right systems and heart, local service businesses can deliver amazing experiences.
